Arizona Department of Revenue – Withholding Tax

Agency Information

Add to existing company setup

Submit a request to your service team to add AZ (withholding) to your company setup. Please include the below with your request:

  • Withholding – Deposit Frequency and Account number.  If you’re unsure of your deposit frequency or account number, you can call the agency at 602-255-3381.
  • Power of Attorney – POA is required, please obtain the prefilled form from your client service representative.

Register a new company

  1. Visit https://www.aztaxes.gov/Home/Page  and select License a New Business.
  2. Follow the prompts to complete the registration. Both tax agencies process your application separately, and each agency will notify you once the processing is complete, which can take 2-3 weeks.

Power of Attorney Instructions

Power of Attorney is required, please obtain the prefilled form from your client service representative.

Arizona Department of Economic Security– Unemployment tax

Agency Information

Add to existing company setup

  • Unemployment – Tax rate and Account number.  This can be found on a Tax Rate Notice or the Quarterly contribution report.  If you’re unsure of your tax rate or account number, you can call the agency at 602-771-6602.
  • Power of Attorney – POA is required, please obtain the prefilled form from your client service representative.

Register a new company

  1. Visit https://www.aztaxes.gov/Home/Page  and select License a New Business.
  2. Follow the prompts to complete the registration. Both tax agencies process your application separately, and each agency will notify you once the processing is complete, which can take 2-3 weeks.
